Ian White is an award-winning international director.

Ian White’s work has been described as visually striking and immensely thought provoking. He has directed and produced theatrical feature films and network television content in over 15 countries throughout the world.

His 2015 feature "Before The Fall" screened at Cannes 2016 and was an official submission to the the 89th Academy Awards (Oscars) in 2017.

Ian White has been the recipient of numerous awards over the years including a BANF World Media Award for best documentary of the year, a Hero Award at the 2018 Monte Carlo TVFF and several Asian TV awards.

His work has been screened internationally and broadcast on television networks such as BBC, ABC, A&E – Biography and History channels, FOX, CNA and CNN.
Regularly commissioned by the United Nations to produce documentary work, his most powerful films have been mentioned in UN security council meetings.

Ian White began his career as a graphic designer for Smash Hits magazine in the 1980s. He later went on to become art director for international record labels Mushroom and Polydor Records where he was nominated five times for ARIA awards (best album cover artwork) and was published in the prestigious international design annual Graphis.
His work from this time was recently selected for publication in “Plastered” a coffee table book featuring the best Australian rock posters of the past fifty years.
